USE OF BUILDINGS: NON-MEMBERS and WEDDINGS

 PLEASE PRINT THIS FORM, FILL IN THE REQUIRED INFORMATION AND GIVE IT TO A TRUSTEE AS SPECIFIED BELOW.


Any person using the buildings for other than regularly scheduled meetings or church sponsored activities must abide by the following regulations:

 

  • A funeral is considered a church activity.
  • Any activities or events that are an extension of our Church and Sunday school ministries shall be considered church sponsored activities.

 

1.      Request for the use of buildings must be given to a Board of Trustees member at least two weeks in advance of the event. The name and phone number of the user, date, time, type of event, and applicable fees listed below must be included for both the building and the Sexton. This means you will need to write two checks.

2.      The Trustees shall advise the Sexton after permission has been granted.

3.      The Trustees shall write the name of the person responsible for the event on the calendar in the Church office.

4.      It is the responsibility of the user to set up tables and chairs or to move equipment according to their needs. The same person is to ensure that all furniture and/or equipment is returned to its original location immediately following the event. All kitchen utensils are to be washed and put away. All trash is to be placed in the dumpster outside. All food for the event is to be removed from the building (including food in the refrigerator).

5.      All children must be carefully supervised by adults in charge of the event.

6.      The user is responsible to ensure that nothing is thrown inside the church, and an announcement to this effect should be made. Birdseed only is to be thrown outside the church. Absolutely no rice is to be thrown.

7.      Applicable fees are as follows:

Educational Building: $200.00 (This consists of $125.00 for Church & $75.00 Sexton)

Sanctuary: $300.00 (This consists of $150.00 for Church & $150.00 Sexton)

The Sexton shall be responsible for heating or A/C, lights, opening and closing of buildings, and cleaning before and after the event.
